Message from the Head of the Department
Management education today must go beyond tools and short-term skill acquisition to focus on strong conceptual foundations, ethical leadership, and sound decision-making. At the Department of Management Studies, we view management as a rigorous discipline rooted in economics, organizational behavior, strategy, and quantitative analysis, and not merely as vocational training.
Our MBA programme is designed to develop graduates who demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, effective communication, teamwork, and responsible leadership—learning outcomes that align with the principles of Outcome-Based Education and NBA frameworks. Through a balanced integration of theory, case-based learning, experiential projects, and industry exposure, we prepare students to perform effectively in dynamic and uncertain business environments.
We emphasize lifelong learning, adaptability, and professional ethics, ensuring that our students are not only industry-ready but also capable of continuous growth and meaningful societal contribution. Supported by a committed faculty, a contemporary curriculum, and active industry engagement, our department strives to develop competent managers and future leaders.
I am confident that our students will add value to organizations and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
