Functions of  T & P Cell       

The Institute has a fully fledged Training & Placements Cell for various activities.

  • The objectives of T&P Cell are to provide the Best possible opportunities to the Students for Placements.
  • To identify the areas of Training to make Students Competent.
  • To organise various Training to inculcate the Essence of Soft Skills and to support improving the Personality of the Students.
  • To provide an Internship to the students through various platforms
  • Training & Placements Cell motivates and provides coaching to the students for Competitive Examinations like GATE, GRE, CAT, etc.
  • To organise industrial visits for the students to know how the latest modernisations and practical practices of Industries.
  • Regular visits of T&P coordinators to the industries to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
  • To organise the Expert talks of eminent personalities from industries, to make students aware of the Expectations of industries.

Entrepreneurship Development Cell

Coordinator EDC

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) is an initiative that aims to promote entrepreneurial thinking among students. Its main goal is to create an environment where students can learn how to develop business ideas, understand market needs, and gain practical knowledge about startups. The cell organizes events such as entrepreneurship awareness programs, business plan competitions, skill-development workshops, and interaction sessions with successful entrepreneurs. It also helps students connect with mentors, incubators, and industry experts to support them in turning their ideas into real ventures.

The ED Cell of the College conducts various awareness programmes such as Seminars, Workshops, Industrial Visitsand Interaction with young Entrepreneurs, etc. These programmes are aimed at making the student community more enthusiastic towards entrepreneurial activity. The Advisory board for the ED cell comprises of members from industry, financial institutions, Research and Development, Government institutions etc. The board will guide and advise the cell in organizing various activities.

Mission
To foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students and motivate them to build and pursue their own ventures.

Functions of the ED Cell

  1. Organize entrepreneurship awareness camps and training programs.

  2. Develop and introduce entrepreneurship-related curricula at various levels, including undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the institute and other institutions in the region.

  3. Conduct research and surveys to identify entrepreneurial opportunities.

  4. Guide and support prospective entrepreneurs in preparing project reports, obtaining approvals, securing loans, and accessing facilities from relevant support agencies.

  5. Organize guest lectures to promote science and technology through project-based learning and execution.


Constitution of the E-Cell

The E-Cell consists of faculty members who act as facilitators and students who serve as active members. Student members are selected based on their interest and willingness to contribute voluntarily. The E-Cell team works collaboratively to plan and execute various entrepreneurship-related programs.

  • Expert Talk on “Innovative Techniques for Successful Entrepreneurship” by Mr. Pradeep Gurukhudde for first-year students.

  • Two-day workshop on “Kona Kona Shiksha: Financial Education for Young Citizens” conducted by CA Mr. Deepak Vekaraia, NiSM, an educational initiative of SEBI, for final-year students.

  • Expert Talk on “Career Guidance on E-Commerce” by Diecom eCommerce Seller Panel for final-year students.

INDUSTRY INSTITUTION INTERACTION CELL

A) Objectives of the Industry–Institute Interaction (III) Cell

  1. Enhance the employability of students.

  2. Promote collaborative research and development.

  3. Organize industrial visits and expert lectures.

  4. Facilitate curriculum development and upgradation based on industry needs.

  5. Support faculty development through industry exposure and training.

  6. Promote entrepreneurship and innovation.

  7. Generate resources through consultancy and sponsored projects.

  8. Develop Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with industries and organizations.

  9. Improve institutional branding and visibility.


B) Memorandum of Understanding

The III Cell maintains strong interactions with industries and corporate partners to identify the skill gap between industry requirements and institute offerings.
It works actively to bridge this gap by signing MoUs with various organizations. These collaborations help students gain industry-relevant skills through placements, internships, industrial visits, hands-on training, and expert sessions.

The III Cell has organized multiple activities and events by inviting industry professionals. These sessions help students understand industry expectations and prepare themselves accordingly, both technically and professionally.

Internship Cell

The Internship Cell acts as a dedicated platform that connects students with industry opportunities. Its purpose is to provide hands-on experience, strengthen employability skills, and prepare students for real-world challenges. The cell guides students in applying for internships available on multiple platforms, helping them secure meaningful industry exposure through internships and apprenticeships.


Objectives of Internships

  • Provide students with exposure to industry culture, standards, tools, and technologies.
  • Build strong industry connections.
  • Increase employability and workplace readiness.
  • Support students in career exploration and informed career choices.
  • Facilitate apprenticeship opportunities to enhance practical learning.

Student Coordinators

Student coordinators are selected based on their interest and willingness to work with the Internship Cell. They assist the staff coordinators in identifying and promoting internship opportunities to their peers.


Internship Opportunities

The Internship Cell has facilitated several internship opportunities for students across various companies.
A majority of students have been registered on leading internship platforms such as:

  • Internshala
  • Apna Portal of AICTE
  • National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0)

These platforms help students secure part-time or full-time internships and explore placement opportunities.
